Beauty Favorites #3

Every week on my Instagram stories, I talk about my Cruelty-free + Vegan Beauty Favorites of the Week. Check out my Instagram to watch: https://www.instagram.com/crueltyfreecrystal/
  1. Milk KUSH Fiber Brow Gel

I was devastated when I found out my Glossier Boy Brow had beeswax in it. I was like how am I going to find anything to replace my holy grail?! I heard so many good reviews about Kush brow. Milk Makeup is also completely vegan + cruelty-free, so I decided to give it a try. And oh my gosh it is so good! I would say the Glossier Boy Brow is more of a wet formula, where as this one is more thick, which is good: it’s volumizing. I ordered the color Haze and it is perfect. This builds my brows to fill them in, but in the most natural way possible. I don’t have to do any extra work because it’s so volumizing! Love that I discovered this.

2.  Glossier You Perfume

I ordered some Glossier skincare products and got a sample of this in my box. When I sprayed it on I instantly knew I needed to have it. That day, I got so many compliments on the way I smelled, not on how my fragrance smelled. When I used to wear other perfumes, people would always say, “Oh your perfume smells nice,” but never complimented ME.

This is what Glossier says about it, “You’ll find that You makes a good first impression, and lives up to it as time goes on. Each note was chosen and balanced to allow the juice to be both long-lasting and true to how it smells at the beginning, without changing as it dries down. In other words, it’s heavy on the base notes. Mostly it smells like you: that familiar human-y note that makes up the body of what you’re smelling. Creamy, sparkling, clean, warm. That’s You.”

3. Acure Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Oil

This is by far my favorite skincare product in my entire skin routine. I’m usually not an “oil” girl because I have naturally combination/oily skin, so at night I normally use a cream moisturizer. This product has changed the game for me. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is literally glowing. It is so supple & moisturized. Not to mention, the scent is heavenly and I never wake up with a pimple: an oil that doesn’t break you out, what?! The ingredients are clean and pure. I am so excited to have found this and the entire brand.

4. NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner

I’ve been using this eyeliner for over 4 years. It is my tried and true that I cannot live without. It’s super cheap, but the quality is not. The tip is perfect to do an easy wing eyeliner, I never mess up with this brush. The formula is also smudge-proof. If I ever cry, it doesn’t come off! Sometimes the inner corner of my right eye waters (so annoying) and it never smudges or comes off. I will always be in love with this eyeliner. I’ve told several people about it & it has become their holy grails too!

5. Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation

My best friend Amy told me about this foundation because she loved it and knew it was cruelty free + vegan. I’m very picky, so I was hesitant to try it, but it was less than $5 so I figured I had nothing to lose. I was extremely surprised the first time I applied it. It was VERY full coverage without feeling heavy. Throughout the day, I was surprised to see no oil coming through, no patches, no separation. It was just as perfect as it had looked when I applied it. This is one of my favorite foundations now – in general, not just for drugstore. It is long-wearing, full-coverage, and matte. The only downside is it smells like paint. But after it’s on your face, you can’t smell it.
