Glossier’s Vegan Products

Glossier is beauty brand with a cult following and a famous tagline: Skin First, Makeup Second. Glossier is a cruelty-free company, but it often mistaken for being vegan. While Glossier has many vegan products, some of their products contain beeswax, carmine, and collagen. I love Glossier, so I wanted to make an easy cheat sheet of Glossier’s vegan products. Milky Jelly Cleanser

I love this cleanser. It is super gentle, but I still feel I am getting a good clean. It smells amazing and is good for my sensitive skin in the morning. Although, when I use liquid eyeliners, this does not get it off. I do love this for an every day cleanser though, but not for a heavy-duty makeup remover. “This is the ultimate daily face wash: use on dry skin to dissolve away makeup and grime, or on wet skin as you start your day. The pH-balanced, creamy gel formula is made with a blend of five skin conditioners so your face is left feeling healthy and soft, never tight. Its cleansing power comes from the same gentle cleaning agents found in contact lens solution, so it’s tough on impurities and still safe to use on your eyes. You’ll see.”
Solution

“Unlike physical exfoliators that scrape off the surface of your skin, Solution gently sloughs dead cells away through chemical exfoliation, ungluing the problematic dead cells hiding and clogging healthy skin beneath. Wowder

I love my wowder! I wouldn’t call it a super setting powder to use for baking or anything, but it is perfect for setting the makeup without looking cakey. My skin looks like skin when I use this, not powder. Loooove. “It’s not powder, it’s Wowder—for non-dewy days. Wowder will: cut shine, blur the appearance of pores, set makeup, look like skin. Wowder won’t: leave a chalky film, cake into fine lines, flatten skin’s texture, or announce its presence in photographs (no camera flashback). Generation G Lipsticks

I am so excited about this one! The old formula of Gen G lipsticks were not vegan because they had beeswax in them. I don’t know if Glossier is trying to make a transition into going fully vegan, but they reformulated this lipstick with a combination of sunflower and synthetic beeswax. So now it is vegan! Hopefully they do this with all of their products. “Generation G is a new kind of lip color that gives the look and finish of just-blotted lipstick, without the blot. Glossier You Fragrance

BEST PERFUME EVER! I have never gotten so many compliments on my smell in my life. Instead of getting told my perfume smelled nice, people told me, “YOU smell good.” That felt amazing to hear. The smell is invigorating, warm, sensual, but not overbearing. I recommend this to everyone. “You’ll find that You makes a good first impression, and lives up to it as time goes on. Each note was chosen and balanced to allow the juice to be both long-lasting and true to how it smells at the beginning, without changing as it dries down.
